Virtual Emcee Scott Topper Hosts Solvang’s Women of the Valley Awards Show 2020
The 2020 Virtual Celebration of Women of Distinction in the Santa Ynez Valley is brought to you by the Solvang Chamber of Commerce and SCORE, who have nominated inspirational women in 6 different categories: Woman of the Year, retail, tourism, medical, financial, banking, philanthropic, wine and agriculture.

Tracy Beard, Executive Director of the Solvang Chamber of Commerce, invites all community members to the 2020 Women of the Valley Virtual Celebration with Congressman Salud Carbajal and Janet Garufis CEO of Montecito Bank & Trust, who are the Virtual Celebration keynote speakers. Both Congressman Carbajal and Garufis provide all attendees with real life examples of education and dedication needed to successfully operate a business and the career path that drives such individuals to be the inspirational woman they are today.

This first Virtual Celebration was in honor of Laura Kath of Mariah Marketing, who passed away in February 2020 and touched every business non- profit over the last 30 years.
Women of the Valley’s Virtual Celebration recognizes NINE honorees with deep roots in community involvement and service, who have proven to be outstanding role models for all women in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Tom Phillips of SCORE says “Success is measured in many ways, but key ingredients to anyone’s success is passion, dedication, the ability to listen, talk to everyone, never give up and never pass up an opportunity. Expect and be prepared to deal with failure…. persevere.”
